Driver Airlifted In Rt. 15 Sussex County Crash

A 38-year-old woman was flown to the hospital in a crash on Route 15 in Sussex County, police said.

The woman went off the roadway to the right, hitting a guard rail then overturning on the northbound side of the highway near milepost 13.5 Sunday morning, Oct. 8, Sparta police said.

The woman was flown to a hospital out of an abundance of caution for possible head injuries, Detective Lt. Tom Snyder said.
